What is in the database

The database holds 1,382 shops, of which 919 are shown here. We publish only shops that have an AI summary, and we drop shops that have closed as well as 78 whose reviews describe a Salisbury-steak or steak restaurant rather than a burger shop.

Coverage began in the Kanto region and is expanding to Japan's major cities. Data currently exists for 12 prefectures; the rest of the country has not been collected yet.
